In order to get ready for all the Halloween madness that begins at midnight ;) we made Halloween themed cake pops today! The kids have been bugging me to make these as soon as they saw them on TV and with the Chocolate Melts on sale at A.C. Moore for only $1.97 this week, I decided that today was the day!
This was our first batch and it was super simple. Bake the cakes, insert the sticks and then dip them in chocolate. Of course handling melting chocolate proved to be the hardest part about it…but it was fun! Warning: Not only are these cake pops sweet looking, they are also super sweet…one cake pop per child per day was enough!
